Synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, upon which agriculture has depended for the last 50
years, pollute the water, deplete the soil, decrease natural plant resistance, and lower
food quality – a situation exacerbated by the need to increase usage levels to maintain
crop yields. Coupled with general environmental pressures and population growth, the
need for more intelligent management of our agricultural resources is very apparent.
.
Worldwide sampling shows soils are severely deficient in mineral content, adding to the
threat facing microbial populations and their essential role in breaking down minerals
and making them available to plant life. AgraTech focuses on this “Soil Food Web” and
the natural materials and processes that can create highly efficient, dry and liquid
products for amending soils and improving plant health, yield, and nutritional values.
.
Products. AgraTech has developed both commercial and consumer product lines with
pellet, powder, and liquid products in two categories: (1) AgraMinerals (Agramin, the
base product, contains over 70 major and trace elements) which provide bioavailable
complex minerals, and (2) AgraHumics (humates, humic acids, and mixes including
either with complex minerals added) which enhance the chemical exchange process,
increasing capabilities to intake nutrients for microbial and enzyme bio-technologies.
.
Opportunities. Primary markets include all sectors engaged in typical agricultural
activities. Farm, organic farm, and home garden applications include most food crops;
fruit orchards and vineyards are also targets. Additional opportunities exist in the
horticultural industry and the public, commercial, and domestic landscape industry. The
Company is currently supporting the bulk sale of Agramin to third parties interested in
private labeling, marketing, and selling. For additional information, please
